When you go to a church, sometimes you will notice that their is plenty of items left out in storage such as foods and canned foods. Have you ever wondered what this could be for?

Well the churches have food banks set up for various reasons. Homeless people will go into churches to get food themselves if they want to. Other times, churches set up these food banks incase their is ever a disaster of any sort.

If disaster plans for churches were not in place, it would be one less resource that we would have to turn to. Churches could also be used for shelter if a disaster were to occur and this was a safe place.
